Wedding Magician Berkshire
Close-up wedding magic for Berkshire's riverside hotels and historic venues, from Windsor to Maidenhead.
About Wedding Magician Berkshire
Berkshire’s stretch of the Thames makes for some of the most picturesque wedding settings in the South East – riverside venues like The Runnymede Boathouse in Old Windsor and The Royal Windsor sit right on the water, while Fredricks Hotel & Restaurant in Maidenhead and Coppid Beech Hotel in Bracknell offer their own take on a grand wedding day.
Pete performs at Berkshire weddings throughout the year, adapting the act to whichever part of the day needs filling most – a walk-around during drinks on the terrace, table-to-table magic through the wedding breakfast, or working the room once the evening reception gets underway.
Why Berkshire Couples Book Pete
- Experience at riverside hotels and venues along the Thames
- Elegant, close-up magic suited to a refined wedding atmosphere
- Fully insured, punctual and used to working alongside venue schedules
What Affects the Cost
There is no single price, and anyone quoting one before they know your details is guessing. Three things move it more than anything else:
- How long you need, and which part of the event you want covered.
- Guest numbers. Past roughly 150 guests it is worth discussing a longer booking or a second performer.
- The date. Saturdays in summer and most of December book up first.
Berkshire is a regular run rather than an occasional trip, so travel is rarely a factor. Worth asking when you enquire. There is a fuller breakdown in the guide to what a magician costs in the UK.

Most bookings run one to two hours of mixed-and-mingled close-up magic, though I offer flexible packages from a short 45-minute slot up to a full day's entertainment - whatever suits your event.
The Magic Circle is Britain's most respected society for magicians, founded in 1905. It isn't a membership you can simply pay for - every applicant has to pass a formal examination (or submit a thesis) in front of a panel of existing members, demonstrating real skill and knowledge of the craft, before being admitted. I've been a Member since 2016.
